Welcome to the world of the mysterious, elusive, original Manic Pixie.
I've had this particular deviantart account for 8 years. My followers have seen me grow exponentially. I started as a shy, self taught, 18 year old girl with a ridiculous amount of angsty poetry and no real sense of the world outside the very sheltered life I was forced to lead.
Now, I'm a mom of a 2 year old daughter, I have traversed the culinary world through many stages - from prep cook, to line cook, to sous chef, to kitchen manager, to chef en residence, and back around to the front of the house as a server and manager.
About 3 years ago, many of you noticed that I stopped posting my writing. Some of you asked if I was working on something new and big. Some of you asked if something had happened to me. Truth is, I didn't just stop posting; I stopped writing completely.
I found myself trapped in an abusive relationship that left me broken in so many ways.
It's been a year since I left that situation, accompanied by my daughter, and I, like I never knew my namesake 8 years ago might mean, have risen from the proverbial ashes.
Now, you will see me waiting tables in the evenings, after which I'll come home to my beautiful 2 bedroom apartment that I share with my bright, happy daughter and my wonderful, handsome, sexy fiance.
If you have known me before, be prepared for something you have never seen. And if you haven't met me yet, rest assured, you are always welcome here.
